Spring loaded flange safety valves are depending on the spring elasticity to close the nozzle/disc to seal the valve. The disc will be top opened when there is unusual high pressure in equipment against spring to make a passageway releasing the high pressure. According to the opening height, there are full-opened type and tiny opened type. Full opened type has large volumes drainage for liquid and gas. The tiny opened type is just suitable for liquid media.
